The business
Founded 1998. One barrow, Leadenhall Market, London EC3. We sell limes to people who work in finance, and over time we have come to believe that this makes us a financial institution.
We maintain a market board, a compliance function, a risk framework and a staff restaurant. We do not maintain a second barrow. Several of these facts are in tension.

- The greeting lives in KV, not in the source, so the name on the front page changes without a deploy.
- The market and the bulletin are computed per request, seeded from the date so every edge location agrees.
- The Delivery Network panel is real. Depot, distance and carrier come from Cloudflare's own view of your connection.
- A cron trigger runs at 05:00 UTC to load the barrow and record the day's opening state.
- Static assets still exist — the stylesheet and the client script — served straight from the assets binding without waking the Worker.
